Cherline Wanda Green, 85, of Murphy, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at Erlanger Murphy Medical Center.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, and the daughter of the late Charlie and Onia Moore
Carringer.
Cherline was a member of Second Baptist Church in Murphy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Miles Green Jr.; one infant sister, Frances Carringer; sister, Mary Grace Palmer; brothers, Broudus, Ralph, Jerry, Pat and Dallas Carringer.
She is survived by four daughters, Debbie Ann Crowe, Carolyn Morrow, Linda Morrow and Gail Baker; two sisters, Faye Guffey and Katherine Duckworth; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Revs. Ralph Barnard and Calvin Murphy officiated. Burial was in New Martins Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
