In loving memory of Maureen Lovingood Dunn, who passed away peacefully at age 95 on April 18, 2019 in Charlottesville, Va.
She was married to the late Captain George G. Dunn, USN for more than 50 years and is survived by their two children, Kathryn Dunn and Robert Dunn, who loved her deeply.
Her parents were Roy V. Lovingood and Lena Davis Lovingood of Murphy, NC.
Maureen graduated from the University of South Carolina and taught at Murphy High School as well as volunteering over the years at hospitals for paralyzed veterans and physically-challenged children. She was a master gardener, whose connection to the natural world took many artistic forms. She was loved by many extended family members and friends and will always be remembered for her kind heart.
