James Whitener

    James “Archie” Whitener, 61, of Andrews, died Monday, May 29, 2017, at his residence, with his wife, Lisa, by his side.
    His parents were the late James R. and Wilma Kimsey Whitener of the Martins Creek community.
    He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in December 1974.
    He worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years.
    He had a large and loving family that meant the world to him, including children, grandchildren, cousins and spiritual family.
    Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Marble.
