Barbara “Vivian” Bailey, 54, of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Mrs. Bailey was born Sept. 9, 1962, in Washington, D.C., to Lucy Moore Leonard and the late James Leonard.
She was preceded in death by her father and one grandson, Korbin Smith.
In her spare time, Vivian enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband, Jeff Bailey; mother, Lucy Leonard; son, Jamie (Sarah) Smith; daughter, Sheena Dockery; one stepdaughter, Samantha Torres; two sisters, Peggy Jordan and Brenda Jacobsen; four grandchildren, Nieko Wiley, Zoey and Zsaa Brady, and Kaleb Smith; two step-grandchildren, Cody and Kaylee Lovingood; and mother-in-law, Helen Bzotte.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Jordan officiating.
The family received friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at Cochran Funeral Home.
Arrangements were entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy.
