June Clara Flowers, 63, of Andrews, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2017, at her residence.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County. June was the daughter of the late Roy and Medley Brown Rogers.
She was a salesperson in a shoe store.
June was a member of Valleytown Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Hogsed.
She is survived by her husband, Don Ray Flowers; three sons, Kelly Flowers, Donny Flowers and Andy Flowers; one daughter, Angela and Jeremiah Johnson; four brothers, Johnny Rogers and wife Vivian, Danny Rogers, Sammy Rogers and wife Connie, and Jimmy Rogers and wife Geneva; two sisters, Shirley Whitaker and husband Don, and Judy Kephart and husband Ricky; one grandson, Sebastian Flowers; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephews.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at Valleytown Baptist Church. Pastor Eric Byrd and the Rev. Patrick O’Dell officiated. Burial was in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Earwood, Paul Earwood, Edwin Flowers, Tony Pendergrass, Jeremiah Johnson, Anthony Flowers and Randy Cable.
The family received friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at Valleytown Baptist Church.
