Selena Roxann Key Green passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, at 10:37 a.m. at Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn.
She was born June 2, 1982, in Andrews, to Robin Key Barton and the late Calvin Key.
Selena was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She was a very selfless, loving person.
She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Key; maternal grandmother, Sally Crawford Barton; paternal grandparents, Bass and Alwayne Key; and maternal great-grandmother, Winnie Crawford Cathey.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Joseph Green; two beautiful children whom she loved dearly, a daughter, Cheyenne Green, and son, Haston Green; her mother, Robin Barton; stepfather, David Hewett Sr., stepbrother, David Hewett Jr. and wife Lauryn; two half sisters,
Megan and Kayla Key of Central, S.C.; maternal grandfather, Herbert Barton; her Aunt Nana, Donna A Decker; and a host of extended family and friends who miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Little Brasstown Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Aud Brown.
Friends and family are encouraged to share memories of Selena.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an education fund for Cheyenne and Haston or a charity of your choice.
