Gladys Hogan Webb, 84, of Andrews, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, in an Asheville care facility.
She was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County. Gladys was a homemaker and member of Andrews First Baptist Church.
Gladys loved her family dearly and wrote beautiful letters to them, and also wrote poetry.
She was the daughter of the late Fred and Edith Lee Hogan. She also was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Simon Eugene Webb; a daughter, Deborah Webb Frye and husband Rick of Asheville; a son, William Benjamin Webb and wife Debbie of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a sister, Faye Brown of Andrews; two grandchildren, Kyle Webb and wife Marissa, and Megan Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in Andrews First Baptist Church with Dr. Calvin Bobo officiating. The interment will be in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Coy and Lyle Brown, Danny Anderson, Perry Hogan, Greg Pullium and Jim Rogers.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Andrews First Baptist Church prior to the services.
