Bud Brown

    Bud Lawerence Brown is more alive than he has ever been and with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born Oct. 31, 1928, in Elf, N.C., Bud passed into glory Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care.
    Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Goldie Brown; two sisters, Dorothy Lundvall and Barbara Bracken; and twin brother, Benjamin Brown.
    He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Betty Moore Brown; his daughter, Deborah J. Brown; and two sons, Lawrence E. and Brenin K. Brown. He is also survived by a brother, James Brown and wife Frances of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Lee Brown of Hayesville; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
    Raised as a farm boy in Clay and Cherokee counties, Bud later joined and served 20 years in the U. S. Army in Europe and Asia, and 36 years with Bernhardt Furniture travelling extensively around the world on their behalf.
    He was very active in his community, serving on numerous boards; in church, serving as Sunday School teacher, youth leader, missions committee chair, chair of the board of deacons, elder, clerk of session and trustee of Lenoir Presbyterian Church.
    He also served 40 years as a volunteer of the Department of Defense branch, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), retired as state chair with a rank of two-star general, being dubbed “father of ESGR” in North Carolina. The “Bud Brown Award for Excellence” is given each year to a deserving member of ESGR.
    He and Betty served as hospice volunteers for 30 years.
    Bud carried a suitcase of Bibles throughout Asia for many years and testified to God’s love for all people through Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed home remodeling with his daughter, farming with his children, painting and drawing, woodworking, leather tooling, furniture making and handcrafting with his wife.
    The funeral and visitation was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Lenoir Presbyterian Church in Lenoir.
    Memorials may be made to Lenoir Presbyterian Church, 1002 Kirkwood Ave. NW, Lenoir, NC 28645; Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Ave., Lenoir, NC 28645; or Yokefellow Christian Ministries, P.O. Box 2422, Lenoir, NC 28645.
    The family deeply appreciates the staff of Caldwell Memorial Hospital, Caldwell Hospice and faithful caregivers Christy Pearson, Tammy Parsons, Kaitlyn Miller, Morgan Preik, as well as Sarah Eckard of Caregivers By Design.
    The family expresses special thanks to Lenoir Presbyterian Church for their support during Bud’s illness, Harris Chapel Baptist Church for their prayers and many visits, and Hyatt’s Creek Baptist Church for prayers and care. Most special thanks to Pastor Rob Hinman and Pastor Ron Burgett who will conduct the service.

Floyd Brooks

    Floyd “Chub” Brooks, 88, of Andrews, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, in a Murphy care facility.
    He was born in Clay County, but was a lifetime resident of Andrews. Chub worked with his family at Reece Motor Co. as parts manager. He also worked as a parts manager for several other businesses.
    Chub volunteered with the Andrews Volunteer Fire Department and retired as fire chief. He was a member of Andrews First Baptist Church, where he served as deacon, Sunday School teacher and superintendent.
    He was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson “Jeff” and Cordie Elizabeth Ledford Brooks. He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances West and Divola Frye; and two brothers, Thomas Frank Brooks and J.V. Brooks.
    Surviving are his wife of 66 years, June Lunsford Brooks; a daughter, Nancy Brooks Bradshaw and husband Wilfred of Andrews; two sons, David Brooks and wife Ann of Andrews, and Steven Brooks and wife Patricia of Clarkesville, Ga.; a sister, Alma “Cricket” Gray of Andrews; a brother, Wade Brooks and wife Judy of Andrews; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov, 10, in Andrews First Baptist Church with Dr. Calvin Bobo officiating. The inurnment will be in Valleytown Cemetery at a later date.
    The family will receive friends from noon-1:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Andrews First Baptist Church prior to the services.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Floyd “Chub” Brooks to Andrews First Baptist Church Kid’s Food Bag Program, P.O. Box 427, Andrews, NC 28901.

    W.E. Price Jr., 89, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, at a Wilmington hospital after a short illness.
    A native of Cherokee County, Junior was preceded in death by his father, W.E. Price Sr.; his mother, Lenna Lee Price; his wife, Thelma (Ted) Brendle Price; his daughter, Donna Bea Taylor; and sisters, Azalee English, Althea Moore and Edith Little.
    Junior retired after a lifetime career as a cross country transfer truck driver, where he worked as a partner with his brother, Edward Hoyt Price, who preceded him in death in 2004. The two brothers retired to Wrightsville Beach, where they shared many joyful fishing adventures on their boat, “Lucky 7.”
    He is survived by a daughter, Vicki Lee Price Schramm, a son-in-law, Donnie Taylor, two grandsons, Jeremy and Jordan, and two great-grandchildren, all of Kannapolis/Concord; two brothers, Dale Price of Murphy, Richard Price of Midland; his sisters, Aleen Keener of Murphy, Gail Lambert of Salisbury, Angie Kiser of Fortson, Ga., Linda Kimble of Salisbury; and numerous much loved nieces and nephews.
    A memorial service and spreading of ashes at sea will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, in Wilmington. A joint memorial service for both Junior and his wife, Teddy, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Tomotla Community Cemetery.

Steve Allen

    Steve Allen, 59, of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018.
    He was a lifetime resident of the Boiling Springs community.
    Steve began his career as a machinist with King Auto Supply. He moved on to become an engine builder and pit crew member with several NASCAR teams including DiGard Racing, Race Hill Farms, Cale Yarborough Motorsports, Morgan-McClure Motorsports and Hendrick Motorsports.
    Following this, Steve began his own venture as the owner/head engine builder at Steve Allen Racing. One of the brightest highlights of his racing career occurred in 2006 when his engine won the Meijer 300 in the Busch Grand National Series at Kentucky Speedway.
    He was an active member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
    Steve enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled airplanes, camping with his family, and many forms of music, but especially gospel and bluegrass.
    He was the son of Donna Lindsey Allen of Murphy and the late Robert Benjamin Allen.
    Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 40 years, Nadine O’Dell Allen; two daughters, LeighAnna Colgrove and husband Ben of Knoxville, Tenn., and Michele Allen-Biggs and husband  Galen of Kannapolis; two sisters, Lydia Long and husband  William A. Jr. of Edgewater, Fla., and Lindsey Denny and husband Mac of Murphy; a brother, David Allen and wife Cindy of Murphy; three grandchildren, who were the joy of his life, Luke, Stella  and Claire Colgrove, whom he loved spending time with; an aunt, Dorothy Davis of Gainesville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, in Boiling Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddis Dockery officiating. The interment will take place at Hanging Dog Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers will be Ben Colgrove, Galen Biggs, Alan Pipes, Dale and Eddie Allen, J.B. Reeves, and Keith and George Mashburn. Jack Elder and Jerry Tumer will serve as honorary pallbearers.
    The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Boiling Springs Baptist Church prior to the services.

Amanda Hannah

    Amanda Jane James Hannah, 75, of Murphy, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, in a Murphy care facility.
    Jane was a native of Danville, Va., but was raised in the Bessemer City area. She lived in Germany for three years, but was living in Fort Gordon, Ga., near Augusta, before moving to Murphy in 1993.
    Jane was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved her children and making a home for her family. Jane was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed.
    She was the daughter of the late Efton Clifton and Hattie Sneed James. She also was preceded in death by a son, Richard Scott Hannah; a sister, Peggy Jewel Paysour; and a brother, Richard James.
    Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Verlen Hannah; a daughter, Susan Lee Hannah and husband Steven Goldberg of Evans, Ga.; two sons, Stephen Mark Hannah and wife Margaret of Apex, N.C., and Jason Keith Hannah and wife Mitzi of Martinez, Ga.; five sisters, Betty Croft, and Irene Clark and husband the Rev. Roy Dean, all of Bessemer City, Mary Ellen Shope and husband the Rev. Larry, and Gail Carter and husband the Rev. Edward, all of Murphy, and Ruth Lynn James of Young Harris, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, with the Rev. Edward Carter officiating. The interment will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew and Adam Hannah, Michael, Isaac and Jacob Carter, and James Shope.
    The family will receive friends from noon-1:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, prior to the services.

Florence Haney

    Florence “Bubbles” Delina Haney (nee Pratt), 78, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at Erlanger Murphy Medical Center following a persistent illness.
    She was born June 28, 1940, in Boston, Mass., to Clay W. Pratt and Muriel Hazel Pratt (nee Mason).
    Florence was the beloved wife of 49 years to the late Winfred Eugene “Gene” Haney of Kinder, La.
    “Bubbles” and “Gene” were married in Tampa, Fla., where they met in high school.  She received her GED and licensed practical nurse certificates from Brewster Vocational School of Tampa.  But instead of working as a hospital nurse, she gained a devoted career as a dental assistant for nearly 30 years.
    Florence was a devoted member of St. William Catholic Church in Murphy. She considered the church’s loving parishioners as an extension of her own family and they, too, loved her.
    She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, “Gene;” her brother, William “Bill” Pratt, New Port Richey, Fla.; and sister Ruth Hughes (Pratt), Land O’ Lakes, Fla.
    Survivors include two sisters, Marion Blount (Eddie) and Claire Fowler (Gregory); three sons, David E. Haney, Thomas G. Haney, Brian A. Haney (Glenda); and one daughter, Susan D. Haney Piatt (Scott). Also sharing in her legacy are 10 grandchildren; Steven (Nancy), Laura (Bradley), Rebecca (Dylan), Melissa, Jessica (Paul), Grace, Ali (Austin), Abby, Karlee, Molly; and seven great-grandchildren.
    Special thanks to the caring doctors and ICU staff at Erlanger Murphy Medical Center and the Murphy Rehabilitation facility. Personal thanks to our wonderful Church community and to our devoted and very supportive neighbors; Glenn and Marianne Taylor; Jim and Marlene Simon; Charles McLoughlin; and Karen Cook.
    Flo was loved by all that knew her.
    A celebration of life and memorial mass will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at St. William Catholic Church, 765 Andrews Road in Murphy. A light luncheon reception for family and friends will take place following Mass in the commons. The interment of Florence Haney’s cremains with be at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla., at a later date.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Guffey, William “Bud” Pratt, Steven Haney and Jessica Pardo.

Cherline Green

    Cherline Wanda Green, 85, of Murphy, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at Erlanger Murphy Medical Center.
    She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, and the daughter of the late Charlie and Onia Moore
Carringer.
    Cherline was a member of Second Baptist Church in Murphy.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Miles Green Jr.; one infant sister, Frances Carringer; sister, Mary Grace Palmer; brothers, Broudus, Ralph, Jerry, Pat and Dallas Carringer.
    She is survived by four daughters, Debbie Ann Crowe, Carolyn Morrow, Linda Morrow and Gail Baker; two sisters, Faye Guffey and Katherine Duckworth; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 2 pm, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Revs. Ralph Barnard and Calvin Murphy officiated. Burial was in New Martins Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
    The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.

    Tony Ray Carroll, 42, of Andrews, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018.
    He was born April 26, 1976.
    He was preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Sue Carroll; a brother, Jonathan Edward Carroll; and a companion, Amy Marie Nixon.
    He is survived by his mother, Barbara Bettis Carroll of Warne and his father, Furman Carroll of Andrews; five children, two daughters and three sons.
    The family is planning cremation and a day of remembrance at a later date.

Max McClure

    Max Hubert McClure, 80, of Murphy, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, in a Murphy hospital.
    He was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County.
    He had served in the United States Army. Max was a lifelong carpenter and brick mason. Max enjoyed farming, raising cattle, and gardening.
    He was a devoted member of Mount Liberty Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon, Sunday School superintendent, taught Bible School, and helped maintain the church. He also volunteered with the Hope for the Hungry Ministry.  
    He was the son of the late Charlie W. and Maude F. Rogers McClure. He also was preceded in death by an infant brother, David McClure, and brother, Charles McClure.
    He is survived by his family whom he deeply loved.  Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Penny Nelson McClure; a daughter, Tammy Rice and husband Tony of Franklin; two sons, Tony McClure and wife Connie of Murphy and Travis McClure and wife Leigh Ann of Clarkesville, Tenn.; two sisters, Aline Ware and Cleo Smith and husband Carl, all of Murphy; a brother, Bill McClure and wife Pat of Green Valley, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Darian McClure, Hunter, Haidyn and Harley Rice. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Mount Liberty Baptist Church with the Revs. Zack Orton, Warren Golden and Eddis Dockery officiating.  The interment was in the church cemetery with military gravesite rites conducted by Hayesville American Legion Post 532, Murphy American Legion Post 96 and Hayesville VFW Post 6812. Pallbearers were Hunter, Haidyn and Harley Rice, David Dockery, John and Ben Crisp. Honorary pallbearers were Darian and Mike McClure, and Jim and Adam Crisp.
    The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, where the body remained until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Max McClure to Mount Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund, 1700 Old Murphy Road, Murphy, NC 28906.

John Parker

    John C. Parker, 76, of Murphy, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, in a Clay County care center.
    He was a native of Waycross, Ga., but had lived in Jacksonville, Florida and Atlanta, Ga., before moving to Murphy 18 years ago.  
    John graduated from Waycross High School in 1960 and Jacksonville University in 1964. John retired after working 30 years for Bell South. He was an avid HAM radio operator and loved building radios, and everything else, from scratch.
    He was a member of Blairsville First Baptist Church. He loved his church and especially singing in the choir. His love for music was contagious and usually got everyone around him singing along.
    He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He was endeared as “Uncle John” and “Papaw.” He was a loving husband and wonderful father.
    He was the son of the late J.C. and Lucy Morgan Parker.
    Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Jean Mullen Parker; a daughter, Dawn Loftin and husband Stephen of Marietta, Ga.; a son, Joel Parker and wife Kathe of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Kathy Higgs and husband Leo of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren, Lucy, Emma and Coleman Loftin, Kami, Jacob and Kahlan Parker.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Blairsville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Lodge officiating. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be members of Blairsville First Baptist Church Cornerstone Sunday School class. The interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in Arlington Park Cemetery in Jacksonville, Fla.
    The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, where the body remained until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services.

    He is survived by a daughter, Vicki Lee Price Schramm, a son-in-law, Donnie Taylor, two grandsons, Jeremy and Jordan, and two great-grandchildren, all of Kannapolis/Concord; two brothers, Dale Price of Murphy, Richard Price of Midland; his sisters, Aleen Keener of Murphy, Gail Lambert of Salisbury, Angie Kiser of Fortson, Ga., Linda Kimble of Salisbury; and numerous much loved nieces and nephews.
    A memorial service and spreading of ashes at sea will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, in Wilmington. A joint memorial service for both Junior and his wife, Teddy, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Tomotla Community Cemetery.

    Kenneth Hilman Ledford, 92, of Hayesville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at his home.
    He was the son of Wade and Robilee Blankenship Ledford.
    Kenneth was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was an avid pilot and gardener, loved trout fishing, was a middle school teacher and loved to help kids.
    Kenneth was a member of South Hayesville Church of God.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alawayne Parks Ledford; daughter, Debbie Sue Ledford; brother, Charles Ledford; and sister, Betty Ledford.
    He is survived by his sons, Tony Wayne Ledford and wife Joy, Kenneth Gary Ledford aiid wife Linda, Johnny Ledford and wife Tamara; daughter, Carl Misseri and husband Hal; grandchildren, Kenneth Wade, Tony Jr., Toby, Sheila, Johnny Curtis and Alasia Ledford, Lisa Oakes Chrissy, Emily and Amanda Silknitter and Kevin Krach; and many great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home
Chapel of Hayesville. Pastors Curt Ledford and Alasia Ledford officiated. Burial was in Bethabara Cemetery. Military graveside rites were conducted by VFW Post 10222, Joe Miller Elkin American Legion Post 96, DAV Chapter 73, American Legion Post 532 of Hayesville and VFW Post 6812. Pallbearers were Tony Ledford Jr., Toby Ledford, Kenneth Wade Ledford, John Curtis Ledford, Dalton Ledford and Wade Ledford.
    The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.

    Alice Bourne, 88, of Highway 141, Murphy, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, Ga.
    Alice was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Arthur and “Mama Dot” Reece.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frances Bourne; one son, Michael Melvin Mauney, and infant children, William Arthur Mauney and Nancy Beth Mauney; and former husband, Bruce Mauney.
    Alice was an avid traveler and enjoyed cross-stitching pillows for all of her friends and family. She attended Pinelog Baptist Church.
    She is survived by one son and daughter-in law, Claude Reece and Lucy Mauney; two sisters, Lenora and Charlie Caldwell of Brasstown and Opal and Frank Rose of Hayesville; one brother, Max and Mary Reece of Pinelog; one sister-in-law, Mary Reece of Calhoun, Ga.; two grandchildren, Allison Leah Mauney Brown and Kenny and Michael Wayne Mauney and Moriah; four great-grandchildren, Kameron Michael Brown, Alyssa Grace Brown, Kassidy Hope Mauney and Michael Carder Mauney.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Rev. Kevin Miller officiated. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Max Reece, Kameron Brown, Mike Mauney, Charlie Caldwell, Clark Bourne and Kenny Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Mauney, David Hyatt, Doug Thrasher and Cecil Harding.

    A native of Snowbird, she was the daughter of the late Rudy Martin and Bettie Jane Brown.
    She was preceded in death by her twins, Cruz and Snowbird Colbert.
    She was a member of Journey Fellowship in Murphy.
    She is survived by her son, Nick Brown and wife Sarah of Murphy; daughter, Chloe Burke of the home; sisters, Rhianna Ornelas and husband Arturo of Robbinsville and their children, AJ and CJ Ornelas; and Jennifer Wesley of Robbinsville and her children, Jasper, Stacey and Seth.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19,  at Church of the Lamb in Robbinsville.
    The body will be taken to the church at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, by Crisp Funeral Home, Bryson City, to await the hour of service.

    John Clayton “J.C.” Newton, 74, of Marble, entered his heavenly home Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at home with his family by his side.
    Mr. Newton was born Aug. 22, 1944, in Murphy to the late Lester Newton and Mary Ann Laney Newton.
    A member of Tomotla Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Crayton Newton; and son, John Brian Newton.
    In his spare time, J.C. enjoyed farming, hunting and going to livestock sales. He was an animal lover, and enjoyed taking them in and caring for them.
    Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Sallie Ruth Newton; son and daughter-in-law, John Steven and Mary Newton; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Becky Newton; brother and sister-in-law, Therman and Jody Newton; sister and brother-in-law, Verdie and Joe Patterson; sister and brother-in-law, Annie Mae and Bobby Dockery; three grandchildren, Heather Newton, Greg Newton and Michael Newton; one great-grandchild, Little John Newton; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with the Rev. Mitchell Totherow officiating. Music was provided by Regina Owens Delili and Mary Newton. Interment followed in Little Brasstown Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Greg Newton, Michael Newton, Jason Newton, Jack Newton, Bronson Newton, Heather Newton, Marty Cook and Terry Macky. Honorary pallbearer was Jamie Reynolds.
    The family received friends from 5-9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy.

Dr. Herbert Badger

    Dr. Herbert Andrew Badger, 83, of Douglasville, Ga.,  passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018.
    He was born May 5, 1935, in Walpole, Mass.
    Dr. Badger was a tenured professor with Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss., and a teacher with Lecanto High School in Lecanto, Fla. Andrew was a highly respected teacher and a scholar with many publications to his name.
    He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and his students.
    He also took pride in being a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving six years from 1958 to 1964.
    Preceding him in death are his parents, Herbert and Eugenia Badger, as well as sisters, Mary Badger and Lois Badger.
    He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Deleana Badger; sons, David Badger and Grady Bernreuter; daughters, Patty Badger, Diane Badger, Ingrid Hall, Maria Badger and Jennafer Bernreuter; brothers, Tim Badger and Steve Badger; grandchildren, Olivia McDaniel, Kimsie Rafiel, Thomas McDaniel, James Connor Robinson, Kelsey Hall, Ava Belle Cole, Violet Cole, Gemma Cole, Jackson Badger, Samantha Bernreuter; and great-grandchild, Liam McDaniel; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
    The family will have a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, in the Rosehaven Chapel.
    The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers that a donation be made instead to Lecanto High School Alumni Association, Lecanto High School, Lecanto, FL 34461.
