James Vernon “J.V.” Pace, 89, of Marble, passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, the Murphy Rehabilitation & Nursing.
Mr. Pace was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Cherokee County to the late Roy Pace and Mary Newton Pace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Hermis, Glenn, Frank and Clarence Pace; and one sister, Geneva Pace.
Survivors include his wife, Deloris Farner Pace; daughter, Sheila Pace Morris;, son, Bobby Pace; brother, Ed Pace; sister, Janette Pace; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at Murphy Rehabilitation & Nursing at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy.
