William Albert Stiles,74, of Sanford, formerly of Cherokee County, passed away Sunday April 14, 2019.
Mr. Stiles was born in Haywood County to the late Claude W. Stiles and Winona C. Stiles. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Kenneth Stiles.
When he was 3, his family moved to Murphy in Cherokee County. He worked in customer service and had a passion as a farmer and loved animals, good stories and basketball.
He is survived by his wife, Leeanna Stiles; daughters, Delaine Powell (Boo), Deanna Gust of Tennessee, Shelby Fields (Enrico Bigoni) of Holly Springs; sons, Darren Stiles of Tennessee and Dewayne Stiles (Angela) of Georgia; sister, Shirley Moore (Tommy) of South Carolina; and 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
