Eunice Davis

    Eunice Davis, 81, of Andrews, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017, in Chattanooga, Tenn.
    She was a native of Cherokee County, and the daughter of the late Will and Edna Martin Hedden.
    Eunice was a health care provider. She was a lifelong member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
    Eunice loved her church, cooking, flowers, gardening and doing for others.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Pearl McDonald, Bill Hedden, Fannie Dockery, Kate Dockery, Charles Hedden, Bob Hedden, Paul Hedden, Gene Hedden, Donnie Arp, infant twins Ray and Bud Hedden, and Betty Hedden.
    She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wallace Davis; two sons, Ricky Davis and wife Marsha of Andrews, and Jamie Davis of Andrews; one daughter, Sandy Solesbee and husband Kenneth of Andrews; one sister, Bernice Foster of Anderson, S.C.; two grandchildren, Keyton Davis and Wayne Fullman, both of Andrews; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Virginia (Bitsy) Webb.
    Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. The Revs. Eddie Hardin and Michael Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Frady, Ralph Hedden, Terry Hedden, Mike Hedden, Jimmy Hedden and Danny Arp. Honorary pallbearers will be great-nephews.
    The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
