Jeffery “Jeff” Dale Green passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017.
Jeff was born Nov. 28, 1965, to the late Rita Moss Ellis and Raymond Green. He was a native of Cherokee County.
Jeff grew up in Andrews, where he graduated from Andrews High School in 1984.
Jeff worked at OMC and Coats America for several years before moving to Orlando, Fla., where he lived the last few years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Jeff is survived by his stepfather, Jackie Ellis, who raised and loved him as his own son since toddler age; brothers, James Ellis and Scott Green and wife Deborah; sister, Jackie Anderson and husband Russell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family ask that you take a moment to hug your parent, child, friend and remember how blessed we are. Time waits for no one.
