Austin Dale Kitchens, 22, of Murphy, passed away Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at his residence.
He was born in Habersham County, Ga., to the late James David Kitchens, and Tabitha Kitchens of Cleveland, Ga.
Austin was a member of Unaka Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Katlyn Kitchens of Cleveland, Ga., and Taylor Kitchens of Suches, Ga.; paternal grandparents, William and Ruby Capps; and maternal grandfather, Harold Ayers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Unaka Baptist Church. The Rev. Bill Trotter will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Kitchens, Jamie Kitchens, James Kitchens, James Ayers, Michael Graves and Jason Heuck.
The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Unaka Baptist Church.
